Yuhang WU
Yuhang WU is currently a PhD student at Faculty of Education, The University of Hong Kong. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Xi’an Jiaotong University and a master’s degree in Teacher Education from Beijing Normal University. Her research interests lie in teacher learning and development, teacher knowledge and teacher-student interaction. Her current focus is on using design-based research to enhance the professional development of mathematics teachers, particularly in integrating programming and mathematics in classroom teaching. Beyond her studies, she enjoys travelling, dancing and going to music festivals.
Rui LIU
Mr. LIU Rui (刘睿) is currently a first-year Ph.D student at the Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong, focusing on mathematics education. He got his BSc and MEd degrees at Sun Yat-Sen University and Beijing Normal University. His research interest is to understand pre-service/novice mathematics teachers’ development to bridge their learning experiences and teaching practices. He is also enthusiastic about exploring how cutting-edge technologies can be applied in mathematics education and mathematics educational research. Additionally, he is a student in Chinese-food cooking, Xiang cuisine especially.

Shasha (Sarah) ZENG
My name is Zeng Shasha Sarah, and I am thrilled to be pursuing my Doctorate in Education (EdD) under the guidance of Dr. Liang. As a part time EdD student, I am passionate about exploring innovative approaches to educational leadership and addressing the challenges faced by educators and learners alike. With a deep commitment to improving educational systems, my research focuses on using techonology to enhance student mathematical learning. I believe that through collaborative efforts and evidence-based practices, we can create meaningful and sustainable changes in education.
Adam LEUNG
I am a part-time EdD student. I graduated with BSc and MPhil in mathematics from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. I am currently working as an instructor in the Department of Applied Mathematics of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. My research interest is tertiary and gifted education in mathematics.

Qiuyu CHEN
I am Qiuyu Chen, a third-year master's student majoring in mathematics education at East China Normal University (ECNU). My research interests include students' mathematical thinking, quantitative reasoning, educational technology, and mathematics teacher education with the goal of developing student-centered classrooms. Except for mathematics and mathematics education, I also have a passion for dancing and playing chess.
Runze LIU
I'm Liu Runze, a HKU master's student majoring in mathematics education. I got my bachelor's degree from the Education University of Hong Kong, majoring in secondary mathematics education. I'm committed to mathematics education. My research interests include teacher development and student learning in mathematics education, and technology (ChatGPT) assists teaching and learning in mathematics education.
Xuan SU
I am Xuan Su. I recently completed my MA in Mathematics Education at University College London with distinction. I earned my BSc in Applied Mathematics from the University of Liverpool. My experience in mathematics teaching makes me enjoy interacting with students and exploring mathematics concept together. My research interests include covariational and quantitative reasoning, understanding students' cognitive difficulties with functions, and integrating programming into function learning, supported by effective instructional design. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, playing the erhu and cooking.
Yuting HUANG
I’m Huang Yuting, a master’s student majoring in mathematics education at the Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong. I got my BSc in applied statistics at Sun Yat-sen University. I used to be a math teacher and enjoyed working with students. My research interests include students’ mathematical thinking, innovative mathematics instruction, and technology used in mathematics education and research.
Haoyi WANG
I am Haoyi Wang, a master's student in Computer and Information Technology at the University of Pennsylvania. My research focuses on students' mathematical thinking, problem-solving, and attitudes towards mathematics. Outside of academics, I am a semi-professional Chinese zither performer.
